SM Consulting is an Australian consulting business located in Camden, New South Wales, providing services both online and in person.

By engaging with SM Consulting through this website, booking services, or interacting with associated social media platforms, you agree to these terms and conditions.

SM Consulting reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.  The contract shall not be interpreted gainst the party who prepared it.

Professional Scope & Disclaimer

SM Consulting is operated by a CPA and member of CPA Australia and is bound by the CPA Australia Code of Ethics (APES 110).

 

SM Consulting provides services including:

• financial coaching and advisory
• Virtual CFO services
• financial systems and reporting support
• bookkeeping coordination
• business strategy and financial management guidance

All financial guidance is based on information provided by the client and is general in nature unless otherwise agreed in a formal engagement.

SM Consulting is not liable for outcomes resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information.

BAS, Tax & Registered Practitioner Services

At the time of publishing these terms, SM Consulting does not hold BAS Agent or Tax Agent registration.

​

Accordingly, SM Consulting does not provide services that require registration under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, including:

• lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• lodging tax returns
• providing tax agent services as defined under the Act

​

Where clients require BAS or tax lodgement services, SM Consulting may coordinate these services through appropriately registered practitioners, including registered BAS agents or tax agents.

​

These professionals operate as independent service providers and remain responsible for services performed under their respective registrations.

SM Consulting may assist with the preparation, organisation and coordination of financial information to support these services.

Professional Collaboration

To provide clients with a comprehensive financial support model, SM Consulting may collaborate with trusted professionals including:

• Registered tax agents
• BAS agents
• Insurance professionals
• Legal professionals
• Other specialist advisors

Where collaboration occurs, services requiring professional registration will be delivered by the appropriately licensed professional.  SM Consulting will not be held liable for work done by a third party.

Refunds & Exchanges

For coaching sessions, payment is required at the time of booking.  Clients on invoice terms are 7 days from date of invoice.

SM Consulting does not offer refunds for change of mind or missed appointments.

Cancellations & Reschedules

The Queen Bee is in high demand and wants every bee in the hive to receive the most from their session.

No-shows will result in forfeiture of the session.

Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice may be rescheduled once.

If the rescheduled session is missed, the session will be forfeited.

Transference of Sessions

Clients may transfer:

• a single 1-on-1 session, or
• a 3-session package

to another ABN holder.

Individual sessions within a package are not transferable.

All other services are non-transferable.

Privacy

SM Consulting respects your privacy and will not share personal information with third parties without consent, except where required to deliver agreed services.

​

Approved platforms such as Xero may be used with client permission to provide financial services.

Payment details are securely processed through our payment provider.

SM Consulting does not store or retain credit card details on its website.

​

Professional Indemnity & Insurance

SM Consulting is very protective of her hive and the busy bees that make it thrive.

To keep both hives safe, SM Consulting maintains appropriate insurance coverage including:

• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Public Liability Insurance

 

Advice is provided in good faith based on information disclosed by the client.

SM Consulting is not responsible for decisions made or actions taken based on incomplete or inaccurate information.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes arising from the use of this website or services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
